Join us for a 60-minute yoga class designed to build community and introduce practitioners to the welcoming space at Summit Yoga in Park City. This all-levels offering blends mindful movement, foundational alignment, and breath awareness to support strength, flexibility, and balance.
The first portion of the class will guide students through a Hatha Flow practice focused on steady, intentional movement. Postures will emphasize alignment, stability, and functional mobility, helping students build strength while increasing flexibility. The flow will move at a thoughtful pace, giving beginners the opportunity to learn and understand foundational shapes, while more experienced practitioners will receive optional variations and advanced position offerings to deepen strength, mobility, and body awareness.
This asana practice is intentionally designed to prepare the body for stillness, gently opening the hips, spine, and shoulders so students can settle comfortably into seated work.
The second half of the session transitions into 20 minutes of breathwork and meditation. Students will explore simple yet powerful breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, deepen awareness, and cultivate presence. This will be followed by an extended, partially guided meditation, offering both structure and spaciousness for personal experience.
This community class is an opportunity to explore the studio, connect with others, and experience the benefits of combining movement, breath, and meditation in a supportive environment. Practitioners of all levels are welcome, whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to expand an existing practice.
Come move, breathe, and sit together in community.
